Subscriptions

Subscriptions are the monthly membership cost for young people to be part of the Group. Thanks to support from both members and the wider community, the monthly rates have not been changed since 2010 and are as follows:

• Beavers - £10.00 per month
• Cubs - £15.00 per month
• Scouts - £15.00 per month
• Explorers - £15.00 per month

Monthly subscriptions are used to fund the Group’s overheads and indirect costs of maintaining our buildings and facilities; as well as being used to fund the annual memebership costs for the National, County and District Scout associations and councils. Subscriptions are paid by standing order, as this helps to reduce administration.

Gift Aid

We ask all payers of Subscriptions to consider if there are eligable to complete a gift aid form, with full details being included in our joining packs. Gift aid means that the group can recliam the basic tax paid, increaing the value of the monthly subscriptions by 25%; a massive help to the activities and facilities we can offer our young people.
