Beavers

The Beaver Section is open to boys and girls aged between 5¾ and 8 years old. Meetings are on Tuesdays during term time from 16:30 - 17:45.

Beavers is about Fun & Friends! Activities include games, craft, working for badges and exploring and learning about new things. We like to get out and about too - Past trips have included tea with the Mayor, visiting the fire station, pond dipping, hiking and tackling a climbing wall, to name but a few. We enjoy sleepover camps, exploring our local area, and are always part of major Group events such as Remembrance Sunday.

Of course, our Beaver Scouts also get on the water during the year, with both a Beaver boating day and joining in with our annual family “Open Day” at the river
